How We Preserve Your Story

Step 1

1. Fill out our easy online application to begin sharing your military history.

Step 2

You will be contacted by one of our schedulers to arrange your appointment and answer any questions about how your story will be recorded and preserved.

Step 3

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your appointment details and helpful information about what to expect.

Step 4

At your scheduled appointment, you will meet with one of our experienced interviewers to record your story in your own words and voice for future generations.

Step 5

Your recording will be professionally edited and mixed for clarity and quality, then preserved in our archival database for future generations.

Step 6

You will receive your story on a memory card in a beautiful presentation box created in your honor. Your story will also become part of our permanent archive, helping future generations understand and appreciate the service and sacrifice of our nation’s Veterans.
